Hello. Just the early hours of Christmas Eve. Christmas break has been a flipping blast and a half I will tell you that much and today was just as awesome. Today was just so relaxing. Started off getting up at 9 which was a little too early for me I must say because I went to bed at like 1 the night before but das okay cause then I had more of the day! Then I worked on my oil painting which REALLY needed to be done. Phew, I am not sure how I am gonna finish that piece of work before the 2nd week in January for the art show π I have so much to do... That's basically what I am doing this break. Mostly I just stare at it for 5 minutes then work on it for one.... ALTHOUGH I fixed my hair today in it and it looks so much better and I am just so pleased with myself... I'm just avoiding all the hard parts... But when you've been working on the same thing since September it really burns you out! I'll get there. Then I'll pay my fees lol π
Anyway, then I worked on scholarship applications!! Whoopity whoop whoop! That was good for me to do and I answered my essay questions and Wowie oh wow wow am I feeling good about that. That was a heavy burden I needed to finish... I still have a long ways to go. Also, forgot to mention I made my self a killer grilled cheeses with your average tomato soup today and that was just delllishhh.
Tonight Han had a little party. It was for her birthday though she didn't really say it. And holy cow, it was so fun. Our friends were just over and we played games and ate lil treats and games + friends can really make for a fun night. We played four on a couch and Holla at team denim cause we won 3/4 times!!! Yeah we killed... I cheated like twice but ya whatever. I don't cheat normally... Or like ever at all so that was way risquΓ© of me. (Idk if that is great usage for the word risquΓ© but we're going with it). Then we played a great game of the ole mafia. I was narrator first round and I decided I just love observing what everyone is doing/thinking. Things were really getting heated in the Anhder house that's for darn sure. I have never seen some of my friends so adamant (ahem Bayli and Brooke) so it was fun to see that side of them π I made up some killer stories about whoville but I was mason 2nd round who stole the show with his Compton story. I was a thug/slim shady/ murderer in that one. Good times. Really felt bad though cause I betrayed Hannah's just but the mafia won that round (high five to fellow thugs broke and bay!!) we ended the night with a few rounds of smurf and psychiatrist which are always a good time and the question game. I was just surprised about how fun the games ended up being tonight. Like, they usually aren't THAT fun. Good times with some good people. 4 on a couch is a good one.
Then we went to wally world for Hans birthday gift and we got her the lamest stuff ππ toothbrush, farmers almanac, eyedrops.... All the essentials. Daisy biffed it while trying to jump over one of those car block things and I missed it dangit. I heard it was way funny though.
All around, it was a GUUUD DAY.

The musical and life
Hello. Writing from the dressing room here at sky view Hugh school. Just chilling here with all my musical buds. Shan, Brooke, izzy, Esbey, sal, Rachel, Jessie, Marisa, holly, Alana, Genevieve, Alana the other one and yep that's about it for right now.
The musical we are doing is One Upon a Matress. Whoop whoop. Sally Jane is winnefred and by golly gee is she a cutie at that. I don't really have a role. I am known as the "other lady." But I named myself Gwendeline after my granny. My biggest job is that I carry out a tray of wine and a cup for Fred (winnefred) to drink off it. And I go so hard with that tray. At least I try to, but once they told me that I was a little too enthusiastic with my tray holding. So yeah. That's my role.
Musical has been really fun though. I was a little cautious about it at the beginning but these last couple weeks have been a blast and a half. Like I actually like going to rehearsals. Mostly because I am with my friends and all that fun stuff. We have really gotten better at being quiet in the wings though so that is good. Sometimes we make up cheers for the basketball game that are choir related and though that might sound flippen weird we have a grand time doing it. Also I really love the number "quiet" because we sneak out and make a really cool beat with our cups. Izz and I have a grand ole time hitting our cups together and dancing. Yeah it's a blast.
We are at our final dress right now and it's all going well. I am pumped for the show! It's really been a party. And I just sit in the dressing room or the green room and talk to my fellow pals. It's Wally cool cause ya get close to all your musical pals and ya get donuts and cake often.
Last week after musical me Brooke Shannon maxx and Christian went and he sushi at Takara and that was a real party. And it was my first one trying actually good sushi because before I had sushi but not this great of sushi. The Mexican crunch roll was yummers in my tummers. And then we headed over to first dam and talked and looked at the water and then we drove around so if was a nice good Saturday and I wouldn't have done that stuff if I hadn't been in the musical so glad I did the musical.

T-T-Tuesday
T-t-Tuesday is the day, and I just wanna say, yay!
Wow Tuesday. I thought you were a Wednesday. Definitely not a Wednesday. You are a Tuesday. I wish you were a Wednesday because then tomorrow would be Thursday and then the next day would be Friday and Friday means weekend. But honestly, I should be wishing for time to slow down. And even more than that, I wish time would halt completely sometimes so I could have more time to do things in a day!! I used to think days were so long, but truthfully, they are so short. It's ten to 10:00 and I am sitting here in my bed wondering where this Tuesday has gone. I would probably have more of a Tuesday if I wasn't on my phone as much as I am πππ phooie, that is hard to admit but it is a problem.
Wanna know how t t Tuesday went? Well I will tell you I went pretty darn well!! Started off the day by waking up at 7:35 (holla holla that is AWESOME) cause my history class took a lil "take your own self field trip" to the movie theaters so we could see SELMA. And by golly gee that movie was amazing. I was on the verge of tears multiple times, but I never did shed a tear. Not that surprising though.... Ever since I started my junior year of high school I haven't cried. I think I cried once over thanksgiving break. But I don't get emotional anymore. Which is crazy cause last year I was a MESS! I think I dried up what tears I have in my body to be honest. Anyway, Selma just reconfirmed my love I have for Martin Luther King.
Went back to third hour in adult roles and learned about the stages of dating.... Whoopee!! Actually quite interesting. Fourth hour came.... A big bummer because Mrs. Hall decided to get a new seating chart so my dear pal Hannah Anhder doesn't sit by me anymore. I could cry. (But really I couldn't because emotionless , remember?) and then English. Wow by 5th hour my drive is completely lost. I just wanted to lay my head down on the keyboard in the computer lab. I should have.
After school I had musical rehearsal but ditched that early for an orthodontist appointment. I went home before the appointment to find that good ole Noah Braeger had answered me to the Sweethearts dance. ❤️❤️❤️ Hahaha, actually he answered me to "Sadie's.." Silly Noah. What a guy. But he answered me with cookies which I was really pumped about cause I was so hungry cause I didn't eat lunch.
Headed off to the orthodontist and got my retainer fixed. Then when I was coming home I passed the newly opened Dunkin Donuts and they were giving out free hot chocolate. BEST DAY OF MY LIFE. I drove past it deciding I wouldn't get one, then I thought "who am I kidding?" And I turned around and pulled through that Dunkin Donuts drive thru and got me a nice, free, medium hot chocolate. I think they thought I was gonna buy something else but I most definitely was not. Also, they gave me a coupon that said if I filled out a survey I could get a free donut next time I came in to D & D. So free DUNKIN DONUTS 4 LIFE. Doesn't Dunkin donuts sell the famous Homer Simpson pink frosted donut? I hope so because I have always wanted that..... Also that hot chocolate was the best I have ever had. Not even kidding you. It was so creamy I could practically feel my arteries clog as I ingested that chocolatey goodness. My mother would be so disappointed.
So I came home and did math... commonly confused with meth but they both make you crazy afterwords so really, what is the difference? And then went to new beginnings for young women's where I had "peeta" bread and "nightlock berries." Oh so creative. Yeah. Stuffed myself silly. This is beginning to be a problem.
Then watched downton abbey with mi madre. Love that show. Love british shows. They are the best. Well that is all for this fine Tuesday. Ta ta Tuesday.

Chicken Pot Pie
It's 12:04 and I am sitting here in my twin sized bed missing my queen sized bed and thinking of how much I love chicken pot pie. I love it so much i even came up with a song expressing my love about it.
Dear chicken pot pie,
You taste so good,
You make me cry.
And I Don't know why,
That old lady swallowed a fly,
When she could have had a piece,
Of chicken pot pie.
(Chicken pot pie is best with ketchup) (I really shouldn't have taken a nap today because now I can't fall asleep gosh dangit)

Slap in the face
Sometimes you just need a figurative slap in the face from someone to wake you up. Slaps in the face suck and they might hurt your feelings but those slaps in the face will help you realize what you need to realize. Also, a slap in the face is usually given to you by someone else. You can either choose to learn from your slap in the face and realize "wow that was a well needed slap in the face" or you can get offended from it. Today I am learning from my slap in the face.
In case you missed it, all slaps in the face mentioned are figurative, so if someone gives you a literal slap in the face, that is not a good thing.

Windcaves
It's never too late or too early to remember my life so here goes my post at 1:12 in the morn. I just wanna do it when it's fresh in the knoggan, ya feel me?
So after a good long day of being BORED i texted the crew (ell Ben em Nate) and Ben and I decided to hike to the windcaves because there ain't no better January activity. Ellie woke up from a nap soon thereafter and decided to join us on this little adventure.
We didn't venture out until 7:45ish and when we did we had a hard time finding the parking spot up logan canyon. For future reference: ITS PAST THIRD DAM. Okay, got that settled. We eventually found it at it was a joy that we did so. We set in the car for awhile and waited for Ben watts, Preston, curt, Sheldon, and josh to show up. It took them like 30 minutes so by the time they got to the trailhead we were kind of like... Do we REALLY wanna do this? And I am glad we really did.
If was like a frodo and sam, fellowship type of adventure and those are the best kinds! Ben was playing his LOTR film score (you can always count on Ben for that) and it was a jolly ole time. It was super slippery and scary for some parts but I realized that when I truly focus on where I am putting my feet, I don't fall as much!! Hallelujah! We took a lot of short cuts to reach the top but when we did it was cool.
At the top it was cool to turn off all our lights and see (what we could) of the view. It looked so cool all dark and snowy and stuff. Then we carefully headed down into the cave. We just sat there for awhile and talked and took some real sick pics. (Don't we always?) and then we headed back on down the mountain.
On the way down, Ben had a great idea to take a short cut. well the short cut was basically down this little ravine that was super slippery and pretty steep but it was fun! It was just me and the two bens that took that way, and it's probably a good thing that it was just us or else we all would have toppled over eachother on the way down. We had some good bonding time and really reminisced on summer days and camping and hammocking and eating s'mores and barbeques. Holy cow summer is #1. I love it so much. We made it safe and sound down the mountain (probably thanks to a prayer we said while hiking) and it was fun to take a big shortcut. (Oxymoron? Yeah...) we were like 20 minutes a head of the other guys! So an eventful adventure.
Then we headed over to the ole Mickey d's where I dropped Ellie's credit card and went on a scramble lolz. Then over to Dallins for Quick twenty minutes. Ahhh, what a long, good day. Life is good.

Good Day Friday
Do you ever have those days where you are like "wow-- good day!" Because you feel so happy that you had a good day? Yeah that was yesterday. Friday. Always a good day. But always a day of high expectation that is hard to be met. And I shouldn't put so much pressure on Fridays to be fun, but when they are I am always like.... GOOD DAY.
Friday. Yesterday. Went to school. Only had math homework. AWESOME. I was even in the pep assembly and I was pretty amped about that. I did a relay with Ty and daisy, but us juniors lost. It was such a fun assembly though. My favorite part was when derrreck ate whipped cream, a pickle, 6 donuts, and downed a bottle of coke. And we won that contest. It was the sweetest thing ever (probably literally minus the cookie). But everyone knows the good stuff happens after school.... So I went home and called Emily over to come make a Skookie because skookies are my favorite dessert in the history of ever. I mean icecream + hot cookie?!? Yumz in my tumz. (Haha that's a weird phrase). Then mo and ken came over with the chocolate chips and the chocolate syrup and voila! we had some skookies. Also, Graysen, Brayden, Jacob, and tanner all came over too, to help us down those skookies.
Then we decided to head over to campus with some long board and scooters and skate around. #eightskate or even #8SK8 / I love scooting around it is so much fun. And campus is cool and college is cool. But I am not in college, I am in highschool. Sometimes I just pretend ya know? We took some pretty sick pics too.
Then me mo and ken decided that we would be rad and hit up the dollar store for some matching tattoos. We got some nice batman ones and put them right on our necks. Mine looked like some ugly black splotch so pretty much everyone thought I had a gigantic mole or birthmark they hadn't seen before. But we went to the basketball game... And we lost. It was so close!! Ahh, that was sad. But it was a fun game and it was super fun when we were getting close and I had pizza!!! There was a 5th quarter after the game and I live for those. I just love dancing. So fun. Sky view is awesome and 5th quarters are too. So I just danced my heart out. So despite the loss, it was still a good game.
After the game I headed over to Garret's to watch Abraham Lincoln: vampire hunter on CLEARPLAY. Yes it's rated r but I watched a clean version. And it was an interesting movie. I didn't dislike it but I definitely didn't like it either. It was honestly so cheesy and some parts haha. But it was a fun time with friends and stuff. There was a ton of people over there. And I got to go down this cool slide in Garret's house so that was cool.
Anyway. Friday was a good day.
